Definitely More Than Zero

I am not really a watcher. I rarely watch a movie unless I'm able to make it to the cinema, and finishing series tends to take me forever. But Fate/Zero was a complete overkill, even or my standards. It took me 3 years to finish both seasons. 36 months (roughly) to watch 25 episodes. This rivals some governmental projects in terms of sluggishness. And after finally finishing the series, I admit I am a bit ashamed of myself  unable to look myself in the eyes for taking so long. But let's start from the beginning (which, as popular wisdom claims, is the best place to do so). Heroes and mages Fate franchise revolves around Holy Grail Wars - essentially battle royales between powerful mages, aimed at acquiring the mystical Grail. It is said that the artifact can grant a single wish to the one who obtains it... which is more than enough for the mages to engage in a deadly battle of epic proportions. Let's get back to Earth for a while. There are things you encounter by pure chance. Something catches your passing glance, you spare just a second to take a closer look... and the next moment you find yourself immersed in a world you had no idea existed. source: MyAnimeList That is basically how I encountered Kuro . However, the world outside the mansion's walls is far from idyllic. Inhabitants of the nearby town live in constant fear of monsters - dark creatures looming in the vast fo

Hello world!

Welcome to Nerd Base Iota, visitor. A place where boundaries of our dull, grey reality grow thin, allowing us to glimpse beyond their veil. New realities become close, within arm's reach. Each containing a story of its own. Humanity has always sought a way to escape from everyday reality. That is how stories came to be - and ever since the first piece of fiction was conceived, a feedback loop kept the cycle going. Fairy tales and legends inspired future generations to write down stories of their own - and they in turn became a fertile soil for new creators to grow upon. I plan to dedicate this blog to stories I consider worthy of sharing - those discovered in the vast multiverse born from our collective creativity, as well as ones I want to add to this infinite, evergrowing collection, one way or another. What else is to be said? Welcome to Nerd Base Iota - and I hope you will stay for at least a while!
