[Space Engine] Lyssean system

Welp, this takes (again) longer than I hoped.

In my defense, the KSP campaign is proceeding smoothly, but I decided to put the AAR together only after I get the flight to Niven (and back) done. Plus Three Houses came out... And I am a lazy procrastinator.

And on top of all that, I finally got the Steam version of Space Engine, the single best virtual planetarium on this planet. And while exploring the vastness of the universe is fun, the best fun I can have there is putting my own systems together.

Which, thanks to Artifexian's YT channel, I can finally do with some higher degree of plausibility. The result?

Pretty damn impressive.

[Kerbal Space Program] One step back, two steps forward

Customary link to KSP forums and the newest update . By pure coincidence, this update gets posted on the 50th anniversary of  Apollo 11 launch . I didn't plan for it (and actually would have posted it way earlier, if it wasn't for a very chaotic and unpredictable weekend), but let's just pretend it was all part of the plan. And boy... we're going interplanetary for real. Next update should (finally) contain some actual big stuff happening. I mean, landing two probes on another planet is pretty exciting in its own way, but let's be honest - crewed flight is why people play KSP.  You can't just sacrifice probes to the Kraken.

[Kerbal Space Program] One year in

Time for a short summary of my space program's first year.  Yay! KSP has always been a funny game for me - and I actually don't mean the enjoyment here. I mean, it's (literally) a blast to play and the satisfaction from seeing my designs work is immeasurable - but there is one more thing to that. Namely, despite >2k hours played, I never actually managed to go past the closest planets. In stock solar system, I only made it to Dres (Ceres analogue), with only small probes sent beyond. In modded games I didn't even move past the moons. One reason is that I quickly get burnt out and jump to another ideas/games. So far it seems I might have finally broken the curse here - by sorta forcing myself to keep going via this AAR (and, by extension, this blog).
